Jewel MayDean Addison, 97, of Dickinson, Texas passed away peacefully at home on September 30, 2024. Jewel was born on January 7, 1927, to Callie Elkins and Willie Carl Baxter in Byers, Texas.

Jewel is preceded in death by her husband, Earl C. Addison; her mother, Callie Elkins Baxter; her father, Willie Carl Baxter; her three sisters and three brothers; her daughters, Tommie June Reynolds and Margaret Tedder; her son, Stephen Addison; grandchildren Keith Reynolds, Kendall Reynolds, and Stephanie Addison; as well as her first husband, Richard Baxter.

Jewel is survived by her son-in-law, George Reynolds and wife Peggy; her grandchildren Joe Reynolds and wife Angie, Tori Skelton and husband John, Naomi Reynolds, Heather Lubisher, Kim Reynolds, Crystal Reynolds, Laura Addison, Andora Addison, Rena Addison, and Stephen Addison; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Jewel’s life will be celebrated on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson. The family will be welcoming visitors at 9 am, and a service in honor of Jewel will begin at 11 am. A graveside service will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at noon.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the Dickinson Community Center.
