LeRoy Ashley, Jr., 86, of Pasadena, TX passed away at his home on Nov. 12, 2014. He was born on May 18, 1928 in Heber Springs, AR to LeRoy (Sr.) and Minnie Ashley.  LeRoy  is survived by his: daughters,  Elaine Feickert and Beth Meche; son, Richard Ashley; friend, Margaret B. Ashley;  brother, LeVern Ashley; grandchildren, Ken Sinclair, Greg Sinclair, Ashley Bella, Robert Wetherell, Ben Ashley, Jewelli Wetherell and Emily Ashley; great grandchildren, Nicolette Bella, Abigail Bella, Peyton Sinclair, Haylee Bella, Chandler Wetherell, Joshua Sinclair, Ripley Sinclair, Alex Zamora, Cade Alf and numerous family members and friends.

When his nation called he answered by joining the US Navy. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston – Central Campus.  LeRoy worked as a Structural Engineer for SIP, Exxon and various other contractors.  He had a passion for beautiful music and loved to fish and travel.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, Nov. 16 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Crowder Funeral Home – Webster.  Funeral Service will be held on Monday, Nov. 17 from 10:00 am at Crowder Funeral Home – Webster.  Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Dickinson, TX.
