John Douglas Redden, Jr., 50, of San Leon, passed away November 11, 2019, in Texas City.  John was born November 20, 1968 to John Douglas, Sr., and Wanda Faye Redden in Texas City, TX.  He worked as a service technician for Mobile Modular for many years.  He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

John was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Paula Jo Whitaker, granddaughter Baillie Britt, and brother Steven Michael Redden.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 29 years, Margie Ann Blair Redden; daughter, Joanna Elliott and husband Toby; son, Brett Douglas Redden and partner Abel Hernandez; brother, Paul Redden and wife Karrie Herod; grandchildren, Hunter Britt, and Kamdyn Elliott.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, November 23, 2019, from 3:00 – 6:00 PM, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church,  4613 Highway 3, Dickinson, TX.
