Norman Mack
Norman Mack, 76, passed away at home on November 16, 2017. He was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He had a long career as a chemical engineer and metallurgist, working for DuPont, Amoco, and BP. He was a member of Clear Lake Presbyterian Church. He was a master at crossword puzzles and loved to talk politics. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Harriet; two sisters, Rose Marie and Marguerite, and brother-in-law and nephew.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; his 3 children, Jason, Heather (her spouse John), and Galen (his spouse Tara); his 3 grandchildren, Maya, Lucy, and Violet; his 2 step-children, Kelly and Jon; his first wife and mother of his children, Pat; his brother-in-law; and his sister’s children and grandchildren.
The family is having a private remembrance party.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Clear Lake Presbyterian Harvey Relief Fund (1511 El Dorado Blvd., Houston, TX 77062) with the words “Harvey Relief Fund” in the memo line or online at (http://www.clpc.org/Hurricane-Harvey).

so sorry to hear the sad news of Norm’s passing …… he was my mentor & buddy at the refinery and in Naperville! And I will miss him dearly!
Funny, I was just chatting with Harold Everette about Norm the other day and we were both saying what a truly amazing & amp; inspirational workmate he had been!
Best wishes to you and family ….. and i would to love come visit you at some point to reflect on ‘good’ old times!?

So sorry to hear of his passing. Did not know he had passed in November. Been thinking of him . Norman touched so many lives and careers including mine.
Linda,we were all so sorry to hear the bad news.I have known Norm for many years and sorry to see him struggle first with a walking stick,then a chair.He was always a pleasure to talk to.We will all remember him fondly.

Speaking to Harold Everette this evening and he told me that Norm had passed. I am sorry to hear that but please accept my condolence to you and your family. I worked with Norm and will always remember him as a kind and carrying person when it came to metallurgy. God bless you and your family
