Amy Lee Townsend

Amy Lee Townsend, 53, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017, in Webster, TX.  She was born in Texas City, TX to Ginger and Archie Townsend, Jr.  Amy is a lifelong resident of Dickinson, TX and graduated Dickinson High School with the class of 1982.  She worked at UTMB for over 25 years and had a lunch group there that called themselves The Golden Girls of PBS.  For the last 6 years, she has been a manager at Ziegler’s Foods.

Amy is preceded in death by her father Archie Townsend, Jr.  She is survived by her husband Jimmy Corn; mother Ginger Townsend; daughter Whitney Ziegler; two sons: James Corn and wife Ashley and Christopher Corn and wife Rachael; sister Joy Townsend; brother Mark Townsend and wife Dodie; four grandchildren: Kaitlyn Corn, Austin Corn, Bailee Corn, and Christopher Corn, Jr.; mother-in-law Joan Corn; father-in-law Boyd Fickeson; and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.

A visitation for Amy will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, TX.  A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017, at 10:00 AM at the Dickinson Cemetery in Dickinson, TX
