Richard Wayne “Ricky” Bradley Jr.

Richard Wayne “Ricky” Bradley Jr. 69, of Alvin, TX. passed away on April 23, 2025. He was born on April 6, 1956, to Richard and June Bradley in Pasadena, TX. He worked as a machinist in the Oil and Gas industry and was a proud member of the United Steel Workers Union for 34 years. Ricky spent his life grounded in the values of hard work. He was the kind of man that believed in doing things the right way, and in his words, “If you want it done right, you have to do it yourself,” so that’s usually what he did. He enjoyed working with his hands and that included being a machinist, restoring old classic cars and motorcycles, and creating a beautiful business and home for his wife Debi. He did mention that some of those classic cars that needed restoring wasn’t because they were old, it was because he either put them in a ditch or around a tree. But no matter how hard or demanding any job was, he always enjoyed spending time with his family whether it be at a backyard BBQ or just sitting around watching tv, he was happy to be with the ones he loved.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, June and Richard Bradley Sr, his sister LeNora McPherson, his son Bryan King, and his son in law Edward Elie Jr.

Those left to cherish his precious memories are his wife Debra King of 23 years, his daughters, Angela Hutson, Wendy Bradley, and Julie Bradley Elie. His sons; Richard Bradley III, Joseph King and wife, Michele, Matthew King and wife, Ashley.  Richard has 10 Grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be Saturday May 3, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Crowder Funeral Home 2422 E. Broadway St. Pearland, TX 77581.

  1. My deepest condolences to the family of Ricky Bradley. When I was a young man, I spent a lot of time with Bryan King and his family. Ricky was always so kind and I have nothing but good memories of him. Ricky was always working hard and never seemed to mind a little hard work. He was a good man and will be missed. Rest in peace Ricky.

  2. I worked with Rick for over 30 years and most of it was in the Machine Shop, we had many great times together on and off the job. He always talked about how important family was to him, he was a great father, family man and friend. He will be missed by many.
