Maria Cordova
Maria Cordova, a beloved wife, mother, and devoted woman of faith, passed away surrounded by her family. She was a longtime member of Mary Queen Catholic Church in Friendswood, where her devotion and warm presence were felt by all who knew her. Maria shared 39 beautiful years of marriage with her husband, Jesus Cordova. Together, they built a life rooted in love, faith, and family. She was a proud and loving mother to her three children: Armando Cordova, Daniel Cordova, and Marissa Cordova, each of whom carries forward her legacy of kindness, strength, and compassion. She is survived by her three loving siblings, Irma Nelly Mendoza, Jesus Ortiz Jr., and Javier Ortiz Sr., and is now reunited with her parents Jesus Ortiz Sr. and Irma Ortiz. Maria dedicated her professional life to healthcare, where she served others with gentleness and empathy. Her work was not just a career, but a calling—a reflection of her deep desire to care for and uplift those around her. Sending thoughts and prayers to the Cordova family. Your wife and mom is from sunny side IE: E. C. [HARBOR] Indiana. I was unable to know her much however Tia Nelly has blessed her journey with praise. You have great foundation with the fabulous upbringing. Sympathy to all of you and especially to your dad as he will miss his best friend and soul mate. Sending love, thoughts and prayers to Nelly and all of the Ortiz family during this difficult time.
Mrs. Cordova will be greatly missed . She had so much love to give and truly made me feel apart of the family since I was 15 years old. She was a wonderful mother and friend, and someone I will always keep so dear to my heart . She loved my oldest niece and my daughter and I will always appreciate that so much. When my parents moved 6 hours away, she told me she would be here as a mother figure for me if I ever needed it. Her strength was so admirable and I could only hope to be as great of a mother that she was one day . Rest in peace beautiful angel .
My deepest condolences to the family Cordova. Maria was a very respectable and loving person. She will be truly missed . Rest in peace .
