Langdon Jacob Jones, of Houston, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 in Webster, Texas at the age of 72.  He was born on August 29, 1952 in Ironton, Missouri to the late Herbert and Mary (Thomlinson) Jones.

Jacob had many successful careers.  He was a former Peace Officer in Missouri and construction worker in Texas.  He later worked for 15 years as a maintenance supervisor for Haldor Topse, 10 years with Teller County Colorado as a road Inspector, and later worked with RTI Metals in Houston.

Jacob loved to hunt and fish.  Deer hunting was his greatest passion. He spent a lot of time outdoors in Missouri, Colorado, and Texas.  He also enjoyed taking vacations to Caddo Gap in Arkansas on the Caddo River.  Langdon was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Jacob was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Mary Jones, brothers Houston Darrell Jones, Reales Aderin Jones and Lindell Theodore Jones.

Jacob is survived by his loving wife Jo Dell Jones, daughters Melba Elizabeth Jones, Belinda Jo West and husband Jason, and grandson Philip Dean West.

The Family will receive friends on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 4:00pm with a Celebration of Life Ceremony at 5 o’clock at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main, League City, Texas 77573.
