Larry Joe
Larry Joe unexpectedly stepped into the arms of Jesus on February 21, 2017 at the young age of 70.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents Harry Joe and Jean Marie Barker and his brother-in-law Jimmy Crowell.
He leaves behind his loving wife Judy; son Larry Douglas Joe; daughter Mandi Joe, two granddaughters Macy and Lauryn Joe; one great granddaughter Presley Grace (to arrive in 3 weeks); his sisters Barbara Crowell and Dottie Cotham; his brother-in-law and lifetime friend John Cotham.
Larry is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur, TX and attended San Jacinto college to study accounting. He started his business, Lone Star Welding and Safety Supplies and has worked there with his son and business partner Larry Douglas. Larry had recently decided to retire.
Larry Joe was a wonderful, caring and compassionate man. His absence will leave a deep void in all his families lives.
Please join us to remember and celebrate the life of such a wonderful man on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from noon to 3pm, held at the Bella Vita Clubhouse located at 1548 N. Rivera Circle in Pearland.
Rest in Peace with our Lord, dear Larry.
Larry will truly be missed in Bella Vita. He was always smiling and joking around with everyone. We will miss seeing him drive around on his golf cart with Judy and their cute little dogs. We will miss him at all the parties and on the dance floor.
A true angel made his way to Heaven this past Tuesday.
Larry and Judy are much loved by neighbors and friends in the BellaVita community and Larry will be greatly. Will miss his antics on the danced floor and teasing. Will also miss his wonderful Christmas yard display. Will always remember ya’ll letting our grandchildren ride around in your golf cart. Rest in peace Larry and we will love and take care of Judy in your absence. Bill & Connie Harry

Judy, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I enjoyed meeting Larry at our reunion last summer and visiting with you both. It seemed you had a wonderful relationship and you were having a great life together. I hope you will be soothed by the memories you shared.
Good bye my friend Larry, we will see you again!
Your kidding and fun nature will be greatly missed.
Judy we are very sad for your loss and pray for you and all your family.
I just met Larry last July at a cousin’s reunion in Michigan. I talked with him briefly and was impressed with his gentle nature. I had hopes of seeing my cousin, Judy, and Larry more in the future now that the Lekatz branch of the family had re-connected. So sorry that will never happen. My condolences to you and your family, Judy.
Judy and family,
Our deepest prayers and sympathies for your loss. Larry was a friend of mine and had lived two houses away in my great aunt’s rent house. He and Dottie were always such happy smiling souls. He will be missed by all of us.

Larry was the fun, youthful and friendly spark that lit up a room. He was consistently clever and engaging, and a pleasure to be around. I’m glad that I could share the special moment with him when he wore Jimmy Johnson’s Super Bowl ring. The recent time Judy and Larry spent with my family will always be among my favorite memories.
Dearest Judy, you have lost a wonderful husband and we have lost a dear friend. Bob and I consider ourselves blessed to have known him. You surely know you have our deepest sympathy and our love as well.
Your Pennsylvania family, Bob and Pam
I know this neighborhood will not be the same without Larry. We will miss all his holiday decorations and the fun we had at our get togethers, but we do know that he will always be with us in spirit.
Love You and Miss you,
Midge & Lyle
