A wonderful Mom,grandmother and wife. My Mom touched many lives and hearts. She had a spunk that was hers alone right down to her last few hours. Her strength and determination were unmatched. Her main objective in life was to make sure her children and grandchildren were happy, She had 4 children Myself,Duke,Sherri and Susie who were blessed with her love…many times a little stern discipline but always loved. Her grandchildren who she loved immensly Jennifer, Stephen, Jessica,Juan ,Roger, DJ,Shirley,Carli and Cade blessed her with many great grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter.
She will be met in Heaven by her parents, her brothers and sisters and many friends. I will miss her dearly .

My Aunt Shirley, my heart is heavy from the loss of this oh so special lady.
I am so very thankful to have had the opportunity to spend some time visiting with Aunt Shirley, she was still the strong willed and amazing person that we grew up with.
In the brief time that we had, sharing moments, it was still very obvious that she loved her family. She was so proud of each of them. We spents hours reminiscing and laughing.
I feel extremely proud to have been given her name. I love her so very much, and will miss her terribly.
I know that she will join the angles that watch over us each and every day.
Rest In Peace Big Shirley.
My heart is heavy but full of amazing memories of the times I had with you grandma. You were the center of our family and loved us all in a way no one could ever touch. I will miss you so so much. I hope your up in heaven with all the loved ones we’ve lost looking down on us now.
To my Great Aunt Shirley, I can remember visiting you in New York and hearing all the family laugh and reminisce. We called you Big Shirley because my mother was named after you. You and my Grandmother, your sister Rosie, reminded me so much of each other. Feisty, spunky ladies. My fondest memory would be you visiting at Grandmas and making us the biggest, fluffiest pancakes I’d ever had. She misses you dearly. We all know you are up there with your Mom and brothers and sisters looking out for the rest of us.
You and loved and missed. Rest in peace Aunt Shirley.
My condolences to Sue and Dewey Gearhart and family, My thoughts and Prayers are with your family at this time of sorrow.
