Vicky Ann Schoppe
Vicky Ann Schoppe entered into eternal rest Friday night, November 18, 2016 at Memorial Hermann Southeast. She was 73 years old. She was born February 3, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas and was preceded in death by her son- Gregory Alan Schoppe, parents- Leo Jack Politte and Frances A. Snow and husband- Robert Alan Schoppe. She is survived by her daughter- Paige (Thomas) Gallegos.
Vicky married in her early twenties and spent fifty wonderful years at Robert’s side. Family and friends find much comfort knowing they are together again. She lived a full life as a loving mother and wife, spending a great amount of time involved in her children’s school activities as they grew up, and later becoming an active participant in the neighborhood civic club for more than twenty years. Vicky’s active involvement in both of these commitments led to several close and meaningful lifelong friendships. Vicky will be forever remembered for her smile, laugh and generosity. She always did for others and went out of her way to ensure the comfort of those around her.
Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, December 3rd, 2016 at 1:00pm at Forest Park Lawndale. Friends and family may gather at Vicky’s house following the services.

Sorry I did not know Vicky had died — I grew up with Vicky and knew her since 7th grade.. we attended St Leo’s parochial Catholic school in San Antonio Texas and continued our close friendship through Blessed Sacrament Academy…
I last saw her in 2011 at our 50th high school reunion
I have several pictures of Vicky growing up — I will miss her

Hi Joyce. This is her daughter, Paige. Thank you for your kind words. It was a unexpected death and I was not able to notify many friends from her childhood.
I can’t believe it’s been five years since I lost you and dad. Believe it or not we now have two dogs that travel with us in our own RV now. I miss you both and pray you’re together again.
