Thank you Cindy! I appreciate all my church family has done for us. Love you all
We extend our deepest sympathies to all of you. Ed was a well-loved, integral member of our company. We all love Ed and miss his humor, warmth, technical expertise, bid-gathering, coffee-making, lunch-coordinating, his booming laugh and very presence. It won’t be the same without him.
Thank you for all you have done for our family. There are really no words to give you that can express just how deeply we appreciate all you have done. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. With love, Staci
Staci, this is Kim Millard a long time and family member, until Bobby and Jodie broke up! When I got the news about “Ed” my heart started to break, for you and him and your family. I just wanted to let you know you and your family our in my prayers and will always be in my thoughts. Just so you know when Jeff & I finally spoke to Bobby, when Sam was having her baby, there were know true hard feeling between us and yall, Jeff even mentioned all the holidays and Easters we spent together. We talked about coming down any seeing all the work done to the boat house and maybe run into yall and catch up. However, I have to let you, receiving the call about Ed, Jodie being my sister and all was she was so hurt and upset, she barely got the words out to tell, she still in shocked. I sent a “Sweet Tranquility Basket of Flowers” to the funeral home, me & Jodie, so you can take it as a house. This way hopefully, you remember, know matter what happened in the past, Ed & you were always in thoughts ans heart. Maybe, after sometime has passed, Jeff & I decided to take Bobby on his offer to come down and see all the hard work he done to my grandma house and just maybe we will get to run into each other and catch up. I’ll bring it up, hopefully she will be okay with it since bobby and all, I have to respect my sisters wishes. Even though she has moved on with Ben, and she didn’t get upset when I had a long overdue talk with Bobby when Samantha was having her baby. PS: A little note, over the years she has mentioned how much shes missed you and yall’s little get together’s! Just so you know yall were loved, and seeing how this has affected over the years, I plan on taking her somewhere where me and he can light a candle on Ed’s behalf and grieve about losing friends and family, (living or in death). I lost my my mom to breast cancer, (2) Octobers ago and Jeff lost his mom (1) year ago. Just a thought of how we get through it, never stop believing their in a better place. Never stop saying your prayers. “Take Care of You”
Thank you for your words, and prayers. You all mean a lot to us and I am so thankful you, Jodie, and Allyssa were there. It really meant a lot to us. Will get in touch through Samantha soon. Thank you! With love Staci
I am so sorry for your loss. Ed was a good friend and Co-worker with a great since of
humor who cared about his work. He will be greatly missed.
Thank you! Ed had a strong work ethic. Ed always made sure his family was provided for. He was always making jokes even at his own expense.
Ed will be sadly missed here at Gregory-Edwards Inc. Our fathers worked together for many years until they both retired. Me and Ed worked right along side with our fathers manyyears thru the summers and holidays learning the trade while we were still in grade school. Ed was a man that you could trust and was good to his word. He was sometimes rough around the edges, but there was a heart of gold on the inside. He had a vast amount of knowledge in the HVAC industry and was well respected by his co-workers and others. Ed will be greatly missed here at Gregory-Edwards Inc, not only a co-worker, but a great friend. I hope that he is up there in his fishing boat, catch every dang fish that he can! To you Ed, you will be sorely missed and hope your days of fishing, in the great blue sky, are filled with many catches!!!!!!!
Thank you for these words. Ed was always true to his word. When it came to his job he made sure that it was done right and his costumers were happy. I heard him many times on the phone day and night, weekends, holidays talking to customers that were calling. I would complain about it and we would say ” I have to take the call. It’s my job.” He was always available!
Our deepest condolences to the May family.
Thank you very much for your condolences.

Ed was a great guy in general and a good friend as well, and have known him to consistently be that way ever since we met in middle school. We will all miss him very much and our prayers and condolences go out to his family. His friendship and personality will never be forgotten.
Staci – sorry I’m so late on this, I hope you see it. I didn’t find out until well after that Ed had died. Y’all were awesome neighbors. I know Ed took it really hard when Jim died – they’re catching all the big ones now, and giving blessings to our kids when they fish! I remember how bad he felt when he and Ryan killed our mailbox, and they cleaned up the whole thing. Y’all don’t know what a blessing it was to have that dang thing gone – the post office stopped delivering mail to it after the road was fixed, because then the mailbox was too low. I wanted to take that danged thing down forever and Ed fixed it for me! When Ed wasn’t looking, I slipped Ryan $20 for cleaning it up and for taking it down for me, lol.
Because our kids were friends, I could let them play and never worry where they were running around at. I wish people could still do that.
Love y’all and I hope your recovery is going well.
