Wayne Clarence Owen, 74, of Tiki Island, passed away February 8, 2014. He was born December 16, 1939 to Clarence and Aliece Owen in Houston, TX. Wayne owned and operated Owen Electric Supply and was a founder/director in the banking industry. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing. His greatest joy was his family; he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Taylor Owen; son, Jeff Owen and his wife, Karen; daughter, Susan Owen Stafford and her husband Steve; step-daughter, Joanna Langford Frey and her husband, David; step-son, Brad Langford and his wife, Cheryl; and three grandchildren, Ross Wayne Owen and Travis and Tyler Frey.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor, Wednesday, February 12, 2014, 3:00 p.m. at the Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas.
