Kathryn Elizabeth Walker of Texas City, Texas peacefully passed from this life Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the age of 66 surrounded by her loving family.  “Kathy” was born September 29, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas to Woodrow and Opal Koehl.

She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Her love was felt by all who knew her and she will be remembered for her beautiful smile and heart of gold.

She is preceded in death by granddaughter Sarah Jessica Edwards, parents Woodrow and Opal Koehl and brother James Busby.

Survivors include the love of her life, Steve Walker of Texas City, Texas, three daughters: Melissa Hengst of Friendswood, Texas, Michelle White and husband Joe of Pearland, Texas, Kathy Mosley and husband Bud of Santa Fe, Texas and son Scott Walker of Webster, Texas.

She is also survived by brother Felix Hoy and wife TJ of Mulberry Kansas, sister Mary Deacon and husband Eldon of Dayton, Texas, brother Marvin Koehl of Dayton, Texas, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

She is loved and will be deeply missed by grandchildren Heath, Camron  and wife Lindsey, Haleigh, Gerren, Mark, Scott, Courtney, Mckenzie, John Michael, Jacob and great grandchildren, Jake, Ryder, Blaire and Lane.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation that will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 5-8 pm and Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 7, 2016 at 10:00 am, both at Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque, Texas, with Pastor Howard Bernard officiating.  Burial Services will be held graveside at Hayes Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock, Texas.
