Doreta Ann Crabtree, known as Dodie to her family and friends passed away on Saturday February 8th, 2014 in Webster, Texas. She was born on January 25th, 1942 in Beaumont Texas to Marvin and Catherine Nettles. Dodie was raised in Beaumont and graduated from Beaumont High and attended the University of Oklahoma. Dodie and Jack lived in Tulsa Oklahoma for many years where they enjoyed traveling, fishing, skeet shooting and golf. After Jack’s retirement they moved to Van buren, Ark until Jack passed away. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, sisters Lula, Mildred, Catherine, and brothers George, Jimmy, Marvin, and NMike. Dodie is survived by five sisters, Bessie Castille, Ann Wilson, Alice Parrish, Pam Vaughn and Mary Manley. There are many cousins, nieces, and nephews family and friends who will miss her and her inner and outward beauty. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday February 13, 2014 at 11:00 am at Crowder Funeral Home 1645 East Main St, League City, Texas 77573.
