Dennis Timothy Zajack (62), of Texas City, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016. He was born on April 2, 1954 in Galveston, Texas to Mary Lou and Donald Zajack. Dennis was a member of the Texas City Missionary Baptist Church and the Texas Water Utilities Association. He retired from the City of Galveston after 30+ years of service, and was currently working as a Waste Water Consultant.  Dennis is preceded in death by his mother and father and sister; Cecilia Donovitz. He is survived by his loving wife; Shary Zajack, daughters; Latonya Zajack of La Porte, Kristina Jordan and husband Jason of Texas City, Kaitlyn Zajack-Garcia and husband Marcos of League City, son; Jacob Zajack of Texas City, sisters; Donna Jensen and husband Jens, Debbie Johnson, Darlene Schlitzberger and husband Ed, brother; Dan Zajack and wife Patti, grandchildren; Hunter Jordan, Austin Jordan, Alanna Aguirre, Michael Aguirre, Mary Zajack, and Olivia Garcia, and numerous nieces and nephews.  A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 10:00am at the Texas City Missionary Baptist Church in Texas City (2402 32^nd Avenue N., Texas City), with friend and Pastor Carl Strickland officiating; interment to follow at Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock.
