Judy Carol Denton Boofer
Judy Carol Denton Boofer, glided peacefully away on July 27, 2016 after brief battle cancer. She was born in Whitesboro, TX on December 20, 1944 to Anita Clare and Melton Foy Denton.
Judy was a no nonsense kind of woman. She didn’t sugar coat anything and worked hard all her life depending on no one.
She had a way of making everyone feel welcome so much so people didn’t want to leave. She loved and raised three children and adored her seven grandchildren dearly. She was a much loved portrait photographer for most of her life and later ran a vacation property business.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Gail Nunn and Karen Fishpaw and grandson David Kyle Anguish.
She leaves behind her son, Kerry Strait; daughters: Lisa Strait and Michelle Walters, husband, Gladden; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; brother, Gary; sister, Jo Ann as well as extended family. Her funky style and electric smile will live on as well as her beautiful sprit.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 12 noon at Forest Park East Cemetery.
