I worked with Robert in the pedi ICU at CMHH. He was a caring person with a great sense of humor. May you rest in peace.
Robert was a joy to work with. He loved what he did, and he loved life itself. I am sad that he will not be there for those sweet angels he was so good with, and sad that his people will no longer have him in their lives. RIP my friend……

Growing up, when the Loukanis’ lived down the street from my family, his sister Charlotte and I would have him hanging around us – as if I too had a younger brother. Later on, Robert and I worked together while we were both going to Jr. College. I always knew he would do good things and his love of working with children and Life Flight proves this.
I will always remember his quiet demeanor and cherish our friendship.
Rest in Peace, my Brother!
Robert possessed the quality that it took to be more than just a nurse. It was a pleasure to have worked with him. May peace and strength be with his family, friends and colleagues.
Robert always met me with a smile! He was such a pleasure to work with and was so supportive of me as a new nurse in PICU. His encouraging words and helpful tips always made me smile. May you find peace in this difficult time.

I loved working with and for Robert at Children’s Memorial Hermann. He was a wonderful man and nurse.
Robert was a blessing to me while working in the PICU at CMHH. He cared deeply for his “little” patients and for his co-workers, especially his fellow “night shifters”! When I came back from maternity leave with my first child, Robert offered to pick me up and drive me to work with him my first night back, because he knew that I was having a hard time leaving my son at home. He was always so thoughtful and kind. Even though, we lost touch after he left CMHH, I will always treasure his friendship. I will never forget him and I pray that his soul will rest in eternal peace. My condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time. The world has truly lost a great man!

My deepest sympathies to the family and Rocky Roquemore. I only knew Rob for a few short years. However, it was enough time to know that he was a consistently and genuinely kind person whom I enjoyed being around.
I did not know Robert, but I do know his mom and dad, who are wonderful people. I am deeply saddened to learn of their loss, and they will be in my thoughts and prayers.
I miss you and Love you tell we met in heaven , you will always be in my heart and never forget the thing we use to do as kids and as adults. I Love You !!!!!
Robert was a true advocate for children. He was a great mentor and I appreciated his sense of humor. The world will surely miss him.
