Robert “Tiny” Anderson
Robert “Tiny” Anderson, 91, of Bayou Vista, Texas passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016 in Houston, Texas. He was born August 2, 1924 in Galveston to William and Sophie Anderson. He was a resident of La Marque since 1949 formerly from Galveston. Tiny was a graduate of Kirwin High School in 1942; a veteran in the US Air Force serving in WWII and was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church of La Marque, he worked for Santa Fe Railroad. Tiny was former owner of ANCO Plumbing for 48 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dorothy “Pet” Anderson, brothers William T. Anderson, Jr., Richard Hale Anderson and Harry Hugh Anderson. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law; Kitty and Doug Albrecht of La Marque; son and daughter-in-law; Robert “Bobby” and Judy Anderson of La Marque; two sisters; Lillian Wood and Jo Ann Horne; three grandchildren Monica and Tony Thern of Plano, Clint and Kerry Albrecht of Santa Fe and Mindy and Donnie Mc Millin of Santa Fe and four great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at the James Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque.
Tiny was a kind, considerate, good neighbor and fellow Kirwin graduate will be missed.
Tiny lives on through the Anderson family. And the world is better because he was here.

Uncle Tiny was so influential in our young lives, growing up. I remember to this day all the wonderful times we spent together. I will miss his warm, kind nature and great sense of humor, and will always appreciate the many opportunities my family and I had to spend with him. Rest in Peace.
