Mary “Jean” Imogene Morgan, passed away on December 23, 2015. Mrs. Jean was born November 7, 1920 in Quitman, TX, she lived in Texas City, TX for 53 years and for the past 3 ½ years she resided at Atria Cypress Wood Assisted living in Spring, TX.

Mrs. Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Clinton Morgan; her parents and 6 of her siblings.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, daughter, Linda Martinez and husband Frank; 2 sons: Ralph C. (Butch) Morgan and wife Jean and Mark Morgan; grandchildren: Scott Martinez and wife Judy, Andy Martinez and wife Elison, Lisa Appleby, Brittany Wallace and Emily Morgan; great grandchildren: Colton Martinez, Kate Martinez, Aliana Martinez, Roman Martinez, Andy Martinez, Morgan Brown, Christian Appleby, J.J. Wallace, Christopher Wallace, Addy Morgan and Weston Morgan.

Services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Hubbard Chapel Baptist Church, FM 778 and County RD 2590 Quitman, TX 75783. Followed by a graveside service at Concord Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Scott Martinez, Andy Martinez, Grady Finch, Danny Henderson, Charles Morgan and Rip Bradshaw.

In lieu of flowers, family request that donations be made to Breast Cancer in Mrs. Morgan’s name.
