Janis Ann Bauer
Janis Ann Bauer, of Seabrook, Texas, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015 at the age of 67 after losing her battle with cancer.
Janis was born in Silsbee, Texas to parents Clairce and Charles Shutter. While her parents have both passed before her: she is survived by her: husband, Louis Bauer of Seabrook Texas; her son, Christopher Bauer, his wife Stacey and her granddaughter Ella of Austin Texas; and her daughter Cassandra Bauer of Spring, Texas and, numerous brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews..
Janis was a fantastic wife and a loving mother and grandmother. She married Louis in 1968, and would have been married 48 years in February. The Bauer’s traveled for many of those years and lived in many countries internationally. Her friends and family will always remember her loving heart, smile and amazing style and presence.
Janis has chosen cremation and the family will be holding a celebration of her life at a date to be determined in the New Year. In lieu of flowers, please donate to MD Anderson Cancer Hospital or a Cancer charity of your choose.
As a classmate at SHS she was a caring and friendly person. My condolences to her family. Another great Silsbee Tiger has gone from our presence.
