Minnie “Penny” Lazelle Dunlap, 75, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015, in Texas City. Penny was born August 6, 1940, in Robertson County, Texas, to Grady and Bulah Black. Penny had worked as a secretary at American National Insurance Company for 48 years. Penny is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Cloyde Ray Dunlap and brother Grady Black. Penny is survived by her son Cloyde (Ray) Dunlap, Jr. and Emily and Kolden Hudler; sisters: her twin sister Janelle Black, Linda Black, Daphna and Ron Sharp, Brenda and Bruce Neal, Glenda Barker, Barbara Black, Catherine and Jim Dunlap and sister-in-law, Yolanda Black; numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at James Crowder Funeral Home, La Marque. Service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the funeral home, with Pastor Bowers officiating. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, in Hitchcock, Texas. Pallbearers will include Johnny McGee, Travis Sharp, Grady McGee, Andy Sharp, Blake Sampson, Brady McGee and Huber Sarabia.
