Stephen Bradley Hughes, 43, passed away on November 22, 2015 in Friendswood, TX. He was born March 20, 1972 in Gulfport, MS.

Brad was a proud graduate of Texas A&M University and a member of the fraternity Beta Theta Pi. He also earned his MBA from the University of Houston. He went on to be successful in the banking industry.

Brad liked to spend his time playing his favorite sport, golf.  He also enjoyed watching many sporting events including Aggie football, the Houston Rockets, and soccer. He especially loved to coach his son in basketball and baseball as well as watch his daughter perform her sports and activities. Fishing, cooking and hanging out with his “fellas” also brought him joy. Brad’s greatest joy, however, were his beloved children, Erin and Benjamin.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Virgil and Charlee Peerson; Grady and Mary Hughes.

Brad is survived by his parents: Bill and Barbara Hughes; daughter, Erin Hughes; son, Benjamin Hughes; sisters: Melissa Petroski and husband Larry, Pam Joffrion and husband Mark; brother, Brent Hughes and wife Connie; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members.

A visitation will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 1:00pm, followed by a funeral service to start at 2:00pm at Friendswood United Methodist Church. Interment to follow at Forest Park East.
