Sending heart felt sympathy to the entire Chapin family in the passing of Aunt Marillyn. We remember Marillyn as the ultimate host as she made everyone feel extremely welcome in her home. She is now in the hands of God and her suffering has ended. May the following words bring comfort to Pam, Mark, Jeff, Brian and the entire family;
Remember me when the flowers bloom in spring. Remember me on sunny days in the fun that summer brings. Remember me in the fall as you walk through leaves of gold. And in the winter time, remember me in the stories that are told. But most of all, remember each day right from the start…I will be forever near, for I live within your heart. Author unknown.
God bless and peace be with you,
Doug and Karen Lovejoy

Brian and family, my prayers and condolences. Your mother was a very special lady and I know she will be missed by many.
Pam & family:
Marilyn was a special family friend and we always adored her. She was irreplaceable and now she and my mom are in heaven together, as they left this earth the same year! Amazing!
She was so gracious and we loved the visits with you two and seeing you always in church.
She will always remain in our hearts forever, as well as your dad. I remember this past summer the last time I saw her I told her: “God be with you until we meet again” and she replied and also with you!
Love always,
Carol, Jerry, Jeremy & Jennifer Casper & Robert Stager
Always a Christmas card with a letter. Always birthday cards – with letters. Always upbeat, and always so thoughtful of others. Always the best food at her house, and always a welcome. Always so proud of her children and sharing information because she kept up with everyone! Always remembering our children and interested in others besides her own. Always fun times with Marillyn and Johnny starting when we shared a rental house while the guys were in the Army! So many meals and so many games we played, just enjoying being together. Being with them when Pam was born on Feb. 29th. Married the same year, with our first children born two months apart in the next year. So many memories.
And now 63 years later, it is Thanksgiving Day, and we give thanks for their lives, that they were entwined with ours, and how blessed we are to have such special friends! Love and friendship that endures forever. Our love to all the family!

I was very sad to hear of Aunt Marillyn’s passing recently. Although our paths went separate ways many years ago, my memories are fond, feeling run deep and memories of a Wonderful childhood seem like yesterday. Rest in peace and watch over all you love from Heaven. Mark, Pam, Jeff, Brian and families, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Oh Pam, we were so very saddened to receive your letter after Christmas about your Mom. We are so very sorry. Your Mom was so delightful and we always enjoyed getting together with her and your Dad many years ago—they were always so much fun to be with! Just seems like the Ozark Airlines families were just one big happy family in Houston! We always looked forward to seeing you and your Mom; so glad you retired and was able to be there for your Mom these past few years. You two had such a beautiful Mother-Daughter bond that will never be taken away! Knowing your Mom has Eternal Life with our Lord & Savior has to bring a peace to you, but the human part of us makes us ache for our loved ones and God understands that. Please know we ache with you.
We will be in Houston soon and will be in touch. We did let H & J know also.
Love to you and your brothers/families. God Bless
