Herbert Russell Seymour was born April 28, 1931 in Yonkers, New York. He was the only child of Herbert W and Helen Irene (Johnson) Seymour.  While attending college, he was drafted into the U.S. Army.  After his honorable discharge Herbert continued his education and became an Aeronautical Engineer.  He worked for Gruman Aircraft in New York.  In 1957, he was united in marriage with Barbara Bailey and to this union three children were born, Herbert Russell, Jr., Timothy and Desiree.  In 1980 the family moved from New York to Florida where Herbert went to work for Sikorsky Aircraft as an aerospace engineer and test pilot.  After a hurricane destroyed the boat that he and Helen had lived on for 14 years, he came to Seabrook where he found a new boat and home in 2006.  In August, 2014 Herbert Russell, Jr. passed away and on Friday, November 7, 2015 Herbert joined him in Heaven leaving behind his loving wife, Barbara, son, Timothy, daughter, Desiree Yazell and 6 grandchildren, Alyssa, Isaiah, Zachary, Elijah, Tyler and Jessica.  A Funeral Service will be held at 6pm Sunday evening, November 15, 2015 at Crowder Funeral Home in Webster with a visitation prior to and following the service.
