Gail Spitler
Gail Spitler, 60, of Texas City, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015, at her residence. Gail was born April 5, 1955, to Harlin and Penny Spitler, in Marked Tree, Arkansas. Gail worked as a security guard at the mall. She has been a resident of Texas City for 27 years. Gail loved to shop, eat, listen to music and loved her dog, Kita. Gail was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother Penny Kent Uptmor; one sister: Doronia Thetford and husband Larry; one brother: David Spitler and wife Teri; two nieces: Jennifer and Kitty; and numerous great nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at James Crowder Funeral Home, La Marque. The Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Hayes-Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, Hitchcock. Interment will follow. Gail was a very special cousin who shared much love to all who knew her. I will cherish our memories. She will be greatly missed.
She was also survived by more aunts, uncles, and cousin’s than you could realistically list! I can say, without a doubt she was loved by even more! You are in Christi and my prayers aunt Penny, we love you!
