  1. From the moment I met Gary, until he retired, his “light” shined brightly. I could tell that he worked for a higher cause (Colossians 3:24). He gave everything he had to his job, probably too much, but his joy always remained full. I count it an honor to have known Gary and work at the same company for so many years. He was missed when he retired and he is now missed even more. My heart and prayers go out to his family.

    • I knew Gary well, because I was his first wife. Gary and I met at the University of Michigan, and we married in Michigan in 1976. Gary obtained a position as an engineer in Houston, TX, so we lived in Houston for many years. Although we divorced in 1979, I continued to live and work in Houston until I moved back to my home state of Michigan in 1989. My prayer is that Gary may rest in peace–in Heave, which will be our eternal home. My condolences go out to his family.
