Virginia Kresich Lee
Virginia Kresich Lee died peacefully at home on April 15, 2015 surrounded by her loving family after two years battling cancer. She was born on March 22, 1939 in the borough of Manhattan, New York City. Virginia worked for GMAC in Manhattan as a keypunch operator and loved to travel. She met Earl Lee on a cruise in 1969 and they were married on October 4, 1970 in Astoria, Queens, NY. They lived in Northfield, NJ until 1976 when they moved to Clear Lake City, TX. Virginia was a stay at home mom, caring for her family, and volunteering at Clear Lake Hospital, the St Bernadette food pantry, and the ICM food pantry in League City. She enjoyed travel, especially cruises, romance novels, and old movies. She is predeceased by her father Anton “Jack” Kresich and mother Mary Virag Kresich. She is survived by her husband Earl Lee, sister Lorraine Tardi, daughters Jennifer Zion and Eileen Lee, grandsons Noah Zion and Owen Sterrett, and granddaughters Emma Zion and Phoebe Sterrett. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 on Saturday May 2 at St Bernadette Catholic Church, 15500 El Camino Real, Houston. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the St Bernadette Christian Action food pantry.
