Ronald S. Matchette, 82, of LaMarque passed away on April 19, 2015 in Texas City, Texas. Ronald was born on August 4, 1932 to Louis and Josephine Matchette in Mishawaka, Indiana. He served in the United States Army from 1952 – 1954 and was a Korean War Veteran. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, wife Darlene Dennard Matchette, and brothers James Matchette, Edward Matchette and Paul Waletzko. He is survived by his son Jeff Matchette and wife Laura of Kingsbury, Indiana, brothers Sidney Matchette and wife Phyllis of League City, Texas, Dennis Matchette and wife Katy of Philomath, Oregon, brother-n-law Melvin Dennard and wife Susan, Ronnie Dennard and wife Doris, and sister-n-law Marlene Dennard. A Grave Side Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 1:30pm at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038.
