Juvencio Castillo Vasquez, 78, of La Marque, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015, at his residence. Juvencio was born September 28, 1936, in Harlingen, Texas, to Guadalupe and Maria Vasquez. Juvencio was a truck driver. Juvencio is preceded in death by his parents, three daughters: Sonia, Marisela and Maricris; and two brothers, Raul and Santos. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Lidia Vasquez; one daughter, Veronica Schneider and husband Chris; two sons, Armando Vasquez and Martin Vasquez and wife Kathryn; two sisters, Amelia Lopez and Linda Shumate; two brothers, Richard Vasquez and Jesse Vasquez; and five grandchildren: Michaella, Hunter, David, Chris Jr., and Lauren. A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at James Crowder Funeral Home, La Marque. Services will be held at 2:00 pm at the Funeral Home, with Dr. David Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the La Marque City Cemetery, La Marque, Texas.
