Nancy Grover Mason

Nancy Grover Mason, 78, a resident of League City, Texas, passed from this life on Easter Sunday, April 20 th, 2025. She was born on June 18 th, 1946 in Terre Haute, Indiana to parents, Paul Joseph Grover and Kathryn Peel Grover.

She worked as a secretary and office administrator for Clear Creek Independent School District. Following their retirement, Nancy and her husband loved to travel and see the country’s National Parks and the wider world. Some of her greatest joys were preparing baked goods for her family and friends, sewing, and tending to an impressive tropical flower collection.

She is preceded in death by her husband of forty-three years, Robert Joseph Mason and her brother, Paul Michael Grover. She leaves behind to treasure her memory sons, Paul Mason and Eric Mason and wife, Tiffini, and daughter, Angela Clingan and husband, Andrew; sister, Colleen Lane; grandchildren, Connor, Evan, Paige, Brianna and Logan; great-grandchildren, Noah, Gwendolyn and Bonnie.

In her honor, there will be a visitation on Monday, April 28th at 5:00 PM with a rosary to follow at 7:00 PM at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. A Requiem Mass is planned for Tuesday, April 29 th at 11:30 AM at St. Mary of the Expectation Catholic Church in League City, Texas. Committal will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas.

    I met Nancy thru Eric and Tiffani, as our sons Evan and Joseph have been friends from Kinder thru College. She was an amazing grandma, I’d see her at every sporting, school, or life event these boys had. She beamed with pride and you could see the love she had for her family. I know she will be a missed dearly but I also know she is now celebrating with joy being next to her Lord. She has left a great legacy behind, look at the family she and her late husband created. She will continue to be with each and everyone of you and beaming with pride from above. My sincerest condolences. Love you guys!
