Gina Retzlaff Bynum, 61, of Pearland, TX, passed away on April 16, 2025. She was born on May 29 th , 1963, to Betty Jo and Jerry O. Retzlaff in Lincoln, Nebraska.

She is survived by her mother, Betty Jo Retzlaff; daughter, Michelle Gilbert; son, Michael Bynum and partner Kat Keenan; significant other, Mark Gonzales; and Mark’s son Blake Gonzales and partner Cara Caliva. She has one grandchild, Ben Gilbert.

In her 21 years of residency in Pearland, Gina enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, and working in her yard. Driven by unshakable strength and a heart of profound kindness, she excelled as a mother, grandmother, partner, friend, and paralegal, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Please join us in honoring Gina’s memory on April 26, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. Services will be held at Shadycrest Baptist Church, located at 3017 Yost Blvd., Pearland, TX, 77581. The family welcomes flowers, or if you prefer, donations may be made in memory of Gina to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
