Mary Perez Uribe, 87, resident of Friendswood, Texas passed from this life, Thursday, February 27,2025 surrounded by her family. She was born in Moulton, Texas on April 9, 1937 to parents, Bascillio and Rosa Perez.  Mary was one of three sisters, she was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Always busy with her four children, loving husband and creating a happy home, not to mention working at the family restaurant “Gil’s Café & Lounge” as well as a beautician making other ladies beautiful. Later in life, Mary also prided herself in working at Jamail’s Family Market making beautiful custom fruit and wine baskets.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; devoted husband Gilbert Rocha Uribe; sister Emma Perez Luna and son-in-law, Brian Alan MacKenney.

She leaves behind to cherish her happy memories and family celebrations daughters, Debra Uribe  Austin (Charles John, Jr.), Regina Uribe MacKenney, Lydia Uribe Cadenas (Frank Jr.); son, Gilbert Uribe, Jr. (Irma); sister, Celia Perez Sosa; grandchildren, Heather Arias, Victoria Uribe Serma, Charles John Austin, III ”Trey” (Shelby Jo), Eric Edward Austin (Vivian), Cameron Gil MacKenney (Hannah), Brandon Gregory Cadenas (Kandie); great grandchildren, “CJ”,  Ellie Jo Austin as well as numerous extended family and friends.

In her honor a memorial service will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 4:oopm in the Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas.
