Annie Mae Pedersen

Annie Mae Pedersen, 90, of Texas City, passed away on February 4, 2025 after a long life full of love and laughter.

Best known for her infectious laugh, ever-present smile and endless good luck, Annie made this world a brighter place from the moment she came into it on November 2, 1934. She married the love of her life, Thomas, in 1954, and in their 54 years of marriage, they had three sons: Tom, Bill and Don, who were her biggest pride and joy.

She poured her heart into her family, building a legacy of love that now spans those three sons and their wives: Lori, Donna and Dina, as well as eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Annie worked at Mainland Bank for many years and also served as a Sunday school teacher at her church, and when she wasn’t there or with family or friends, she was off on an adventure. She loved to travel and took vacations as often as she could. She became notorious for her good luck; there wasn’t a slot machine or person she couldn’t charm.

She is survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her brother, Jimmy Huepers, and is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, as well as her brothers Willie, Johnny and Eddie and sister Ella.

Annie’s family would like to thank the Delaney Memory Care staff and Magnolia Hospice for taking such exceptional care of our mother during her final journey.

A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, February 10th at 10 a.m. at Crowder Funeral Home – Dickinson, with a graveside service following immediately afterwards. A visitation will be held at 9 a.m.
