Cenovio Garcia Quiroga
Cenovio Garcia Quiroga, 90, passed away on January 9, 2025. He was a resident of Houston TX, since 1958. Cenovio was born on March 15, 1934 to Miguel Quiroga and Maria Garcia Quiroga in Cienega de Flores NL, Mexico. Cenovio married his loving wife, Amelia, on January 6, 1957. He was a carpenter most of his life rising to become a foreman quickly. All the employees loved and appreciated him. His generosity knew no bounds, going as far as visiting friends of friends in the hospital many times because they came to Houston alone to have surgery and had no family here. Cenovio loved to
grill and cook for his family, enjoying family gatherings was the center of his life. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, and a beautiful soul who would help anyone. Cenovio is preceded in death by his parents Miguel and Maria Quiroga; sister Evelia Flores and brothers Miguel Quiroga, Jose Angel Quiroga, and Aurelio Trevino.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years Amelia Quiroga; Son Ricardo Quiroga and wife Patricia, Daughters; Rosa Ribbe and husband Mark; Ana Sklark and husband Edward; sisters Sedera Quiroga, Blanca Ramirez and husband Cristoval, Maria Elena and husband Guadalupe Gutierrez and Lydia Perez. He has 7 grandchildren Erik Javier Ontiveros and wife Stephanie, Amanda Nicole Arispe, Ashley Maire Garza, Richard Cenovio Quiroga, Charles Allen Ribbe and wife Bora, Christina Alicia Quiroga, Danielle Marie Clifton and husband Jose; 9 great-grandchildren; Joseph Garza; Alysia Garza, Arissa Rexach, Tre Garza, Adalyn Arispe, Aubree Arispe, Adon Garza, Autumn River Ontiveros, Camila Elena Clifton, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; Aaliyah Garza and Adianna Garza.
Cenovio, you touched our lives so profoundly and deeply and we love you dearly. Your memory is our keepsake, with which we will never part. God has you in His keeping, we have you in our hearts.
There will be a visitation at 1:00 P.M on Friday 17, 2025 at Crowder Funeral Home 2422 E. Broadway St. Pearland TX. 77581, with a service to begin at 2:00 P.M. with Deacon John Carrillo to officiate.
