It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Alan Slaughter on December 31, 2024, at the age of 69.  David was born on July 24, 1955 in Kingsport Tennessee to Harold and Sue Slaughter.

David received his law degree from University of Houston May 1980.  He partnered in several firms building his career, and then opened his own practice focusing on personal injury in the late 80’s. He retired in 2015 to be with his family.

David leaves behind his wife and three sons.  He is preceded in joining the Lord by: Mother and Father Harold and Sue Slaughter; and brother William Michael Slaughter. David is survived by: his wife Renae; his 3 sons; sister Debra Reynolds; brother Randy Slaughter; uncle Danny Robinette; nephews, Jeromie Slaughter, Travis and Cody Reynolds; great-nephew Gage Slaughter; great nieces, Rylee Slaughter, Kayleigh Reynolds, Layla Reynolds, and Maddie Reynolds.
