As one of ten children, Lillian had a very interesting childhood and she loved sharing those stories with her family. One of her fondest childhood memories was spending time on her grandparents farm. Her proudest childhood memory is the fact that she was able to skip two grades in elementary school. Lillian graduated from Ursuline Academy in Galveston at the young age of 16. Later in life, Lillian returned to the workforce, first with the Civil Defense department, followed by clerk for the Justice of the Peace office, and then as a legal secretary for the law firm of Baker, Coltzer, Allmond and Coltzer. She continued her legal career working with the District Attorney’s office and later at the Galveston County Probation Office from which she retired, where her knowledge and dedication to her work were greatly valued.

Lillian’s strength, intelligence, compassion, love of cooking and spoiling her precious grandbabies, touched everyone who knew her. She was always prioritizing family and the well-being of those around her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
