Jordan Thomas Corcovelos

Jordan Thomas Corcovelos, passed away on Nov 7th in League City Texas to be in heaven alongside many of his relatives and fellow warrior brothers.  He was 38 years old and was born in Oceanside CA on May 13, 1986.  He was terrifyingly known as the “Viking” to his Warrior Ranger Team, He was fondly known as “Coco,” to his friends, He was Amusingly known as “The Scud Missile,” to his cousins, and lastly, he was Lovingly known as “Jordy” to his mama and grandparents.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion. Born on May 13, 1986, Jordan served his country with distinction as an Army Ranger for four years, completing over four deployments and hundreds of dangerous missions in Iraq and Afghanistan and other exotic locales.  His unwavering patriotism and dedication to defending his family and his nation, defined his life.

Jordan was the proud and devoted father of his two boys, Castian and Korbyn, who were his greatest pride and joy. There was never any doubt about the depth of his love for them—he would have moved heaven and earth for his sons.

Known also for his passion for fitness and body-building, Jordan approached life with relentless determination and a fierce spirit. After his discharge from active duty, He played semi-pro football for the Grand Junction Gladiators.  Many years later, he would go on to coach his two sons in flag football in League City.  In Military life, He was a very decorated Army Ranger (Special Ops) who was highly loyal to his SpecOps Brothers and had an intensely hard-charging no-quit drive on the battlefield.  In civilian life, He worked the hard jobs as an Oil Field Roustabout and Rigging team driller throughout Colorado, Wyoming and West Virginia, his loyalty, courage, and love for his Family, His Army brothers, His team-mates and his co-workers will forever remain in the hearts of those who really knew him.

Jordan’s loss is deeply felt, and his memory will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in his life and know the compassionate side of him.

He leaves behind many who will grieve for him.  He is survived by his ex-wife Monique, his two sons, Castian and Korbyn, his brother Brian and his parents Beth and Jim.  He also leaves behind his nieces Savannah and Makayla, and his nephews Malachi, Breccan and Ezra, who will miss their Uncle Jordan.
