Dong Suzanne Nguyen, 88, of League City, Texas, passed away on November 23, 2024.

Dong was born in Chợ Lớn, Vietnam on January 13, 1936. She was multi-lingual in Vietnamese, French and English. She earned her Associate Degree from South Plains College in Lubbock, Texas.

Dong served as an administrative assistance for a French company in Vietnam. She then worked many years as an assembler for Texas Instruments in Lubbock, Texas. She enjoyed reading, gardening and taking her chances in a casino. She had a profound interest in Catholicism throughout her life as the result of her education at Saint Paul De Chartre under the direction of Father DeBonjour and Sister Theresa.

Dong is preceded in death by Ba Nguyen, Dan Nguyen, Nguyen Thi Xuan Minh, and Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh.

Dong is survived by Vien Can, Hien Tran-Thien, nieces, and nephews along with other family and friends.

The funeral service will be held on November 30, 2024 at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 E Medical Center Boulevard, Webster, TX 77598. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am – 10:00 am with service from 10:00 am – 11:00 am. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Crowder Funeral Home.
