Mollandro (Mo) Antoine Taylor, Sr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mollandro (Mo) Antoine Taylor, Sr. on November 11, 2024. Mollandro (Mo) was born November 15, 1962, to Ann Taylor McKinney. He was married to Tanya Naomi Taylor for 26 years. Mo worked as the Branch Manager for HPC Industrial for 23 years and worked 30+ years in the Petrochemical Industry where he was greatly loved and respected. Mollandro, a family-oriented guy, loved spending time cruising with his wife, Tanya, working on the old truck with “his boy”, Lil Mo, spoiling Aria Jane, “Pa Pa’s Baby”, and enjoying other family members at family get-togethers in his hometown of Nacogdoches, Texas. He had strong Christian roots, so, he loved listening to and singing gospel songs, but his greatest love of all was for Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior.

Mollandro is survived by his loving wife, Tanya Taylor; children, Mollandro Taylor Jr. “Lil Mo” (Asia), Lee Taylor, Mollinda Edwards (Brent), grandchildren; Aria Jane “Pa Pa’s Baby”, Kamryn, Jay’Da, Janae, Brea, Leah and Brent Edwards III. Siblings: Tondre Taylor, Racquel Cleveland (Craig), Angelica Taylor, and Lanetta Taylor. Aunt; Faye Curl (Frank) and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

  10. We first met in 2016 as I started as the Branch Manager for HDX. Each day from that time on we would sit in my office and talk about work, families, and sports. Not necessarily in that order…Our friendship grew more and more always giving each other a hard time. You were always BLUNT in our conversations, and I was as you would say more “finesse”. You would always try your hardest to push my buttons, and at first you would succeed until I learned that’s what you were trying to do. I soon learned that your heart was always for the betterment of those around you. We disagreed on things; namely politics, but we never let it disrupt our friendship or respect for one another. You will always be my friend, confidant, but more so than anything…my BROTHER.

  12. I would like to thank the Taylor family for sharing Mr Mo. with us. Often times in this industry you would feel like management was unapproachable but that was never the case with Mr.Mo. He was like that Uncle you loved to be around. He believed in you even through your flaws. His support he showed was unmatched. No problem was to big for him to take the time and help get it solved. You’ll never replace a Mr. Mo never he simply was one of us that just so happen to be in management…. Thank you for everything Love ya Uncle Mr.Mo rest up until next time job will done here on earth.

  13. You know you are truly blessed when you have a person in your life that has a made a positive impact. Growing up, people move forward with their lives, families, and go in different directions. You may not talk as regularly as you once did. You may go days, weeks, or months not talking. It’s not because you’re at odds. But when you do make contact, it’s like you don’t miss a beat in the conversation. I was so sadden when I got word of Mollandros’ passing. Many of you refer to him as Mr. Mo. With respect and not to tarnish that, he will always be our “Snoopy”. Many of us, who grew up together on Powers Street back home in Nacogdoches, will miss our Snoopy. “”Float on, Float On”. Prayers and condolences to the Taylor family. Class of ’81. Reggie Williams

  16. I have much respect towards you Mo, the favors you have done for me will not go unappreciated. 30+ years in this industry is a deep footprint you’re leaving. I’m sure there was plenty of birthdays, holidays, get togethers that were missed and quite frankly that just goes hand in hand with our line of work and the role you played in your household as the provider for your family.
Thank you Mr. Mo Taylor, you will be missed.
