Elizabeth Gail Hudgins
Elizabeth Gail Hudgins, 86, resident of Alvin, Texas, passed from this life, Monday morning, November 11, 2024. Elizabeth was born in Franklinton, Louisiana, March 31, 1938 to parents, Sheldon Erwin and Edna Fussell Erwin.
She was a Christian, devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She worked for and retired from IBM in finance and also worked some for Lockheed-Martin.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hudgins; son, Whitney Parker and his daughter Chase Parker; and her brother, William Erwin.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters, Rhonda Burgess and husband Ray, Kristi LaBroski and husband Jeff; sister, Carolyn Rigsby; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family and friends.
In her honor, a visitation will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas.
I am deeply saddened by this news. What a precious, loving, godly woman Gail was! She had such a gorgeous smile that would light up a room. I am praising God that beautiful Gail is with our Lord, Jesus Christ. Our deepest love and prayers go out to Rhonda, Ray, Lacy and Samantha and all their families at this very difficult time. Rest in peace, sweet Gail.

Oh my, this is such a surprise. We loved her smile, her thoughtfulness and her independence. She was such a beautiful, loving lady. Gail was a strong woman and Christian. She is in the loving arms of loved ones that were awaiting her arrival. May your memories bring you laughter and peace, Rhonda. Ray, Lacy and Samantha and the whole Hudgins family. Gail was such a wonderful lady, fun to be around and an inspiring Christian. She may not be here physically, but will always be with us in our memories. My prayers are with the family.
