Charles Lawrence Hearn

Charles Lawrence Hearn, 86, passed away on October 21, 2024, in Webster, Texas. He was born on September 16, 1938, in Texas City, Texas to Lee and Verona Hearn. He graduated from Texas City High School.

Charles is survived by his wife of 67 years, Shirley Anne Lowe Hearn.  His daughters, Pamela Renee Hearn, Charla Lynn Hearn Judice and her husband Bryan and Cynthia Anne Moore and her husband Tadd; brother Richard Hearn and wife Wilma; grandchildren, Amber Nicole Cavalier and her wife Nikki, Alexander Troy Moore; great grandchildren, Ava Mischelle Kipley and numerous family members and friends.

Charles proudly served in the Army as a member of the 32nd Medical Depot, achieving the rank of Sergeant E-6. After his service, he dedicated his career to helping others, working as a salesman and family counselor for Mt. Olivet, where he found fulfillment in guiding people through some of their most challenging moments.

A passionate leader, Charles served as a Boy Scout leader for a special needs unit and was an active deacon in his Baptist Church, participating in numerous mission trips to Mexico. His commitment to community and service was evident in all he did.

Deeply devoted to his family, Charles took great joy in cooking for them and creating memorable meals for friends. He also cherished his time spent fishing, finding peace and happiness in the great outdoors.

A visitation is scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with funeral following on Monday, October 28 at Crowder Funeral Home 111 W. Medical Center Blvd, Webster, TX.
