I’ve known and worked with Dave for years, he’s one of the best. He got me and my friends out of more scrapes than I can count, and I always loved to see his red truck coming. He was always good for conversation, and always knew what to do and what to say. Dave was rough around the edges but one of the few true gentlemen that I’ve ever known. I will miss him greatly.
SYOTOS!🌺
God bless his family and friends!
David my brother it has been a honor and a pleasure to call you my friend. I will miss your visits and conversations over dr peppers. For the last 10 plus years you are definitely one of my closest friends. My heart hurts brother and still can’t believe that you’ve gone home to heaven. May Jesus welcome you home with open arms.
Just like Boone, I worked along side this good man for quite some time. Pat is spot on by saying seeing that red truck on scene told me two things. First, this man will get the job done and if I was in a fight with a suspect he wouldn’t even stop to ask if he could jump in and help me out. And I knew if he made my scene it was going to be time to sit and swap war stories. God bless him and his family. RIP brother.
He was definitely a true friend and a good man who loved his family. David always was a hard working man who always provided for his family who he loved. RIP brother, you will be missed very much.
To my Brother Wrecker Dave I will miss our time together and cherish the memories untilthend my sweet friend 💋🙏
David was a good man, very witty and had a big personality. He loved to Trailride back in the day by horseback and was a scout for Trinity Valley Trailriders. David did serve on the Horspitality Committe for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo many years. He was my High School sweetheart and we had a family together. He will be missed. Much love and prayers to all of the family.
Sure going to miss David. Truly one of a kind. Rough around the edges, but a heart of gold. Countless times I’ve respond to an in progress call or child locked in a car. David Whittington and his red wrecker would be right there. I want to let David’s family to know that there are people that God puts in your life. David is one of them for me. Prayers for the Whittington family.
Davo, I will always remember you as the voice of reason. Thank you for so many years of our friendship! You will truly be missed, and may you rest in eternal peace my friend!
Uncle David, what great memories growing up in our family!! I wish we visited more after grandpa left us. The loss of mom and grandma too soon in life left grandpa as the glue holding us all together. And I know after we lost him we all kind of drifted, busy with kids and work and life. I will always be grateful for the strong influence you had on us growing up. You taught us alot about respect – no kids would dare get out of line around David Paul when we were young. Maybe Brooke and Monica tested the waters on that, and got the softer version of DP LOL. And I was always grateful that you visited mom and set flowers on her grave for all the holidays. Because I was so young when we lost her, I never felt her in that place so I didn’t visit often enough, but I loved to see the flowers you would take her. I think to Tracy, you and grandpa were so important as father figures and we have lost all of you too soon in our lives. I can only hope that while we are missing you here, you all (mom, you, grandma and grandpa & I’m sure dad is there with you all too) are all reunited in a perfect place of peace and joy. I miss you all so much, it hurts. With love, Mandy Lee.
