Sandra Leigh Rhodes, 81, of Amarillo, TX, passed away on October 5, 2024. She was born on September 28, 1943, to John Walton Beaudoin and June Hamilton in Miami, FL. Sandra was a longtime resident of Houston for over 25 years and dedicated 40 years of service to St. Luke Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Walton Beaudoin and June Hamilton; her son, David G. Rhodes; and her sister, Sue Hoggard.

Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, James Boyd Rhodes; her daughter, Julie Mackenney and husband John; her son, Mark C. Rhodes and wife Melanie; her sisters, Judy MacLachlan, Celeste Day and husband Ben, and Kim Plisky; her brother, Bruce Beaudoin; her grandchildren, Dustan Rhodes, Zachary Rhodes, Joshua Mackenney and wife Olivia, and Amanda Matheson and husband Jordan; and her great-grandchildren, Felicity, Tovah, Henry, and Agnes.

A funeral service for Sandra will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Saint Paul Methodist Church, located at 4317 W Interstate 40, Amarillo, TX 79106, with Pastor Bill Ivins officiating.
