Linnie (Carol) Celestine, 71, of Woodville, Texas, died on Friday September 20, 2024. Her last moments were spent peacefully surrounded by family. Carol was born in Freeport, Texas in 1953 to Lovie and Thomas Miller. She was one of five children and grew up in Angleton, Texas. Carol spent much of her career working as a cosmetologist; she met her husband Sadler in 1988. Carol and Sadler blended their two families and settled in Santa Fe, Texas. Carol enjoyed spending her time with family and fishing; she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother. She is survived by her husband, Sadler Celestine of Woodville, Texas; her brother Billy Miller of La Grange, Texas; her children, Stacie Gallegos of Houston, Texas; Michelle Fiess of Houston, Texas; John Polinard of Bivins, Texas; stepchildren, Tony Celestine of Friendswood, Texas and Colette Karlsen of Connecticut, as well as nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
