Laura “Regina” Couvillon
Laura “Regina” Couvillon, 56, passed away on September 23, 2024 in her Seabrook, Texas home. She was born on July 5, 1968 in Ruston, Louisiana to Johnny Mack and Brenda Brown. Regina attended Texas City High School, earned her degree in Criminal Justice from College of the Mainland, and continued her studies at McNeese State University. A dedicated and loving mother, Regina was a stay-at-home mom and very involved with her children’s school as a volunteer and teacher’s aide. She always took on a motherly role, even to her younger siblings. Regina had a passion for music and enjoyed serving as a manager/talent agent for her sister’s local band for many years. She loved to swim, watch sports, and adored her three loving cats.
Regina is survived by her wife, Amy Lab; daughter, Eliana Savannah Couvillon; son, Ryan Couvillon (Gabby); brother, Erik Brown; sister, Melissa Wolfe (Eric); granddaughter, Madison Grace Couvillon, and numerous family members and friends. Regina is preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Brown, sister Sabrina Clayton, and her “fur”ever dog, Spike.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 29th at 2:00 pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 E Medical Center Boulevard, Webster, Texas. Regina was an avid LSU, Alabama, Saints, Chiefs, Texans, and Astros fan. Attendees are encouraged to wear this fan gear in her honor.
