David Bryan Harris
David Bryan Harris, 67, resident of Santa Fe, Texas passed from this life unexpectedly, Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at his home. He was born July 15, 1957 to loving parents James O. Harris and Nellydon Harkins Harris in Port Arthur, Texas.
He was an avid fisherman, a caring, son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather as well as friend and colleague. David spent his career working in construction management for Time Warner – Redman Communication. His unexpected passing will be a great loss for all who knew him.
David leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Liz Richardson Harris; daughters, Natasha Harris Morgan, & Brooke Harris Mininni; sister, Debbie Portillo (Joe); niece and nephew, Katrina & Joseph Portillo; grandchildren, Theotis Crawford, Jr., Kashmir Morgan, Edward Morgan II, Ryleigh Mongiello, Jordan Mininni; great-grandchildren, Harmony Morgan and Tatum Crawford; as well as numerous extended family, friends and colleagues.
In his honor a funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas.

To David’s family i am so sorry about your loss, the time that I was able to know and work with David i learned to appreciate him very much, he was always a straightforward, fair and respectful person. Please take my condolences and sympathy.

Liz, we unfortunately didn’t know about David’s service until today, the day of the service. Again, unfortunately, we are unable to attend. Please accept our sincere condolences and prayers for comfort for you, family and friends. We as well as many others will surely miss David.
We are so sorry for your loss. We both loved Dave very much! He was a unique
guy that always made us laugh. This world is a little grayer without him here.
