Frank Edward Polivka III

Frank Edward Polivka III, age 50 of La Marque, Texas passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 9, 2024.

Frank is survived by his parents, Patricia and Frank Edward (Ed) Polivka, Jr. of La Marque, Texas; his son Frank Edward (Ivan) Polivka IV; the mother of his son, Desa Polivka and siblings, Mary Lading (Mark) of La Marque, Texas, Nancy Simental (Carlos) of Tomball, Texas; nephews, Scott Polivka (Angela), Matt Polivka (Lauren), Brandon Simental, Alex Lading, and Jonathon Polivka, Jr.; nieces, Brooke Lading, Courtney Simental, Tiffany Simental, and Alyssa Polivka; cousins, Tom Ingrasin (Jen), Catherine Ingrasin, Harlan (Trey) Russell (Lisa), Jacob Russell, Lisa Delavecchio, Chris Millo, Nicholas Millo, Robyn Stawarz, and Heather Fazzino;  aunts and uncles Cynthia Ingrasin, Lula Millo, Edward Millo (Charlene), Frank Millo and Susan Fazzino (Charles) and his treasured dog, Harley.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Frank, Sr. and Mary Polivka, John and Lorraine Millo, uncles, Harlan Russell, Jr., James Ingrasin and John Millo, aunt, Rosemarie Russell, cousin, Steven Russell and dogs, Daisy, Lily and Dixie.

Frank was born on December 12, 1973 in Texas City, Texas. He graduated from Trinity Baptist Christian School in 1993. Following graduation, he joined the United States Marine Corp. He later graduated from College of the Mainland in Texas City, TX in 1999. Frank was an amazing carpenter by trade and often said that he was born with a hammer in his hand. He was the owner of Dead On Construction and was well regarded in the Galveston County community.  In 2001, he welcomed his beloved son, Ivan, who was the joy of his life. Frank was an amazing dad, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend to all those he held dear. His dogs, Daisy, Lily, Dixie, and Harley were cherished companions.

Visitation will be at James Crowder Funeral Home located at 401 Texas Avenue, La Marque, Texas on Thursday evening, August 15, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at Trinity Baptist Church, 29th St., N; Texas City, TX. Entombment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas with Pastor Tom Campbell officiating.
