Raymond Kirby Gates of League City, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, in League City, Texas at the age of 79.

He was born on October 20, 1944, in Houston Texas to Manuel and Eva Gates.

He is proceeded in death by his father Manuel Raymond Gates and mother Eva Dale Green and wife Sharlotte Gates, brother Ray Rightmer.

Survived by his sisters JoAnn Armstrong and Barbara Sue Holland; daughter Lisa Gates Orn and husband John, son Kirby Dale Gates and wife Courtney, son Richard Cryar and wife Rocio.  Grandchildren Dylan and Charleigh Gates. Along with nieces, nephews and friends.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
