  2. Dear Cousins, sending you lots of love and hugs and I’m sorry for the loss of your mom. I know it’s been many many years since there’s been much mingling with the western And eastern branches of the family have intermingled much, but there’s always been a lot of affection as I hope you know. Julie was my godmother and I remember her as being this beautiful exuberant, energetic Fast talking, fascinating woman. And kind. She stood out I think with her kindness at least towards me. She did lose me at the beach one time when I was five. I think she was making out with her boyfriend at at the time. The police found me eventually she found me too, but I never felt bad about that. Looking back on it. I can’t imagine being saddled with taking me to the beach On a beautiful day when you much rather be necking as we called it back then. I would have lost me too! And you girls were littler but so cool and fun, I always felt certain connection and affection with you all. Anyway, lots of great memories and I’m sure you will miss her a lot. Love and peace your cousin Bill

What I remember, most is your mother was always smiling and laughing. She and your dad were the first to invite Mike and I as a married couple to dinner. It was for a fondue dinner and in case you don’t know what that is. It’s a little pot of oil that has a candle underneath it and you have long skewers and drop in your pieces of steak and cheese to “fry”. I don’t think any of us realize how long it takes to cook a piece of steak that way! Lol. It was actually a very fancy type of dinner to host back in 1972! Sending hugs and only good memories for all of you . Love Mike and Mary Beth.
